Fruits, high in carbohydrate products and whole grain bread and cereals are best for the patients of colitis. Water consumption should be increase but the patient should avoid drinking the carbonated drinks as it cause gas and bloating. If you are avoiding dairy products, you should switch for the alternative to get complete nutrition.
